ANNOUNCEMENTS – FEBRUARY 5, 2012

- Baconton’s Annual Birthday/Super Bowl Party will be today at 6:00 P.M. Everyone is invited to join this wonderful time of fellowship – let’s cheer on our Birthday Month Winners and the Winners of the Super Bowl!

- Life Skills class, entitled “Your Financial Status,” will be Monday, February 6th at 6:30 P.M.

- The 12:00 P.M. Bible Study for Wednesday, February 8th has been cancelled; the 7:30 P.M. Bible Study will be held as usual.

- Baconton’s Deacons/Deaconess will host their Annual Valentine Fellowship, Friday, February 10th at 7:00 P.M., at the Buccaneer Seafood Restaurant. If you are interested in attending, please place your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the lobby.

- New Zion Baptist Church will celebrate their Pastor’s 10th Anniversary, Sunday, February 12th at 3:00 P.M. The Guest Preacher will be Dr. Sinclair Thorne, Pastor of First Calvary Baptist Church, Hinesville.

- Good Shepherd Baptist Church will host a Black History/100 Men in Black program, Sunday, February 12th at 5:30 P.M. The Guest Preacher will be Dr. Earnest Williams, Pastor of Mt. Zion AME Church, Gardi, Georgia.

- Liberty Christian Fellowship Worship Center, Inc., will host a Pre-Anniversary Musical, Friday, February 17th at 7:00 P.M., in celebration of their Pastor and First Lady’s 15th Anniversary. Culmination Service will be Sunday, February 19th at 3:30 P.M.; Guest Preacher will be Dr. Sinclair L. Thorne, of First Calvary Baptist Church.

- St. Luke Baptist Church will host a workshop Saturday, February 18th at 9:00 A.M. The workshop, entitled “Dare to Soar,” will be conducted by Dr. Edith Anderson of Good Shepherd Baptist Church, and it will be based on her book by the same title. Everyone is invited to attend.

- High Attendance Sunday School will be February 19th! Sunday School is a great place to be on Sunday mornings, so join us and bring someone with you. Sunday School starts at 9:30 A.M., and classes range from adult to kindergarten. There’s no school like Sunday School – we love Sunday School at Baconton!

- Baconton’s Annual Black History Program will be Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 P.M. (NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE IN THE DATE). The Guest Preacher will be Dr. Roger Lotson, Pastor of Carneghan Emanuel Baptist Church. Everyone is encouraged to come out and celebrate our rich heritage!

- We are looking for someone to manage Summer Camp 2012, June 4th – 22nd. If you are interested in this position, please see Sis. Eldridge for an application. Applications will be accepted up to February 15th, 2012.

- We are trying to establish a Singles Ministry. If you are interested in joining, please place your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the lobby. The Point of Contact is Sis. Eldridge.
