- On Monday, August 20th at 5:30 P.M., Baconton will host a school district-wide informational session with parents, students, pastors, principals, teachers and the community. This session will address concerns, issues, and ways to help improve the performance of our students. “We are One Community Focused on Education”!

- Baconton’s Annual Canned Food Drive will run from September 1st – 30th. When you shop for your groceries, we would appreciate your picking up extra cans of food to help feed the hungry in Liberty County, via the Manna House. You may either place them in the lobby or give them to your deacon.

- SEPTEMBER is Celebration Month! We will celebrate 21 years of service with Pastor and Sis. Scott. We have the best Pastor and First Lady in Liberty County, so let’s show our love and appreciation to Pastor and Sis. Scott, throughout the month. Please mark your calendar for the big weekend: Saturday, September 15th is First Lady’s night. We are planning a very special evening for her; details will follow. Sunday, September 16th is Pastor Scott’s time for celebration, starting with a special Morning Worship Service. Our Guest Preacher is Pastor Rickey Jones, Sr., of Greater Elizabeth Baptist Church, Atlanta. After service, everyone is invited to dine with Pastor and Sis. Scott in the Fellowship Hall.

- The next Business Meeting will be Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00 P.M.

- St. Luke Baptist Church, Hinesville will celebrate their 76th Anniversary, Sunday, September 23rd at 3:00 P.M. The Guest Preacher is Dr. Charlie Anderson, Pastor of Good Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church. They are asking Baconton’s deacons to assist with devotion and offering. Everyone is invited to attend.

- Thee Living Word Church, Walthourville, will have an Ordination Service for Minister Felecia Thomas, Sunday, September 23rd at 4:00 P.M. Everyone is invited to share this occasion with this “Wonderful Woman of God.”

- Our Deacons and Deaconess will host a Fifth Sunday Social (Meet/Greet) Sunday, September 30th immediately after Morning Worship Service, in the fellowship hall. This is a chance to fellowship and to meet and greet one another. A special invitation to join us is extended to our visitors.

REMINDER:- The Homeless Coalition and the City of Hinesville are sponsoring an ongoing Diaper Drive. Baconton is a collection point so please help by donating as many diapers as possible.
