- St. James A.M.E. Church, Freedman Grove, will have their Fifth Annual Male Choir Anniversary, today at 3:00 P.M. Baconton’s Male Chorus is asked to render two selections. Everyone is invited to attend.

- Midway First Presbyterian Church will host “Breath of My Ancestors” African American Genealogy 101, classes as follows: Tuesday, Feb 27th at 6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.; Saturday, Mar 3rd, 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.; Tuesday, Mar 6th, 6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. The cost is $50 for four classes. Our very own Sis. Rose Mullice (Binyah) is the Genealogist.

- Our Ushers will celebrate their 82nd Anniversary, Sunday, March 11th at 4:00 P.M. The Guest Speaker is our very own Rev. Alfred Martin. Baconton -- our ushers are always there for us, so let’s come out and show them how much we love them -- please support this celebration.

- Our Annual Spring Revival will be Tuesday, March 13th through Thursday, March 15th at 7:00 P.M. Our Guest Preacher is Pastor, K.C. Davis, Pastor of First African Baptist Church, Kingsland, GA. Baconton -- we are asking all members to honor God with our treasure by giving $25 during Revival Week. Everyone is encouraged to come out and be revived!!

- Mt. Olive Baptist Church will dedicate their Fellowship Hall, Sunday, March 18th at 3:00 P.M. Baconton is in charge of this program; Pastor Scott will preach, the deacons and ushers will serve, and the Youth Choir will sing. Everyone is invited to attend.

- The Homeless Coalition and the City of Hinesville are sponsoring an ongoing Diaper Drive. Baconton is a collection point so please help by donating as many diapers as possible.

- The Liberty County Branch of the NAACP is conducting an ongoing membership drive. Regular adult membership is $30.00 per year. Please see Rev. DeRon Harper or Sis. Brenda Withers for more information and membership applications.
