ANNOUNCEMENTS – APRIL 22, 2018

- Greater Morris Chapel Baptist Church, Jesup will celebrate their Pastor’s 20th Anniversary, today at 3:00 P.M. Baconton is in charge of this program; Pastor Scott will preach, the deacons and ushers will serve and the BMBC Voices will sing. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

- The City of Walthourville will celebrate “Georgia Cities Week,” April 22nd - 28th. On April 24th, there will be a Youth Coloring Contest, with prizes for the first and second place winners. We are encouraging our youth to enter this contest. Please see Sis. Lampkin for the coloring sheets, which must be submitted no later than 5:00 P.M., Monday, April 23rd.

- The Ministers’ Wives and Widows of the Zion Missionary Baptist Association are hosting a fashion show, Saturday, April 28th, at 11:30 A.M., at Baconton Missionary Baptist Church. All volunteers and models must be at the church no later than 9:00 A.M., on the 28th. POCs are Sis. Pamela Scott, Sis. Melissa Hunt or Sis. Isabelle Harris; you may purchase your tickets from either one of them.

- Our Deacons/Deaconess will host a Fifth Sunday Social (Meet/Greet) on Sunday, April 29th immediately after Morning Worship Service. Everyone is encouraged to join us in the fellowship hall. A special invitation is extended to our visitors -- we would love to have you join us too!

- New Zion Baptist Church, Riceboro will celebrate their 70th Anniversary, May 2nd - 4th at 7:30 P.M. Baconton is in charge of the program Friday, May 4th; Pastor Scott will preach, the deacons and ushers will serve and the Adult Choir will sing. Everyone is invited to attend.

- St. James Baptist Church, Ludowici will have their Annual Revival, May 3rd and 4th at 7:30 P.M. The Guest Preacher is Dr. Eddie Campbell of Shiloh Baptist Temple, Walthourville. They are asking Baconton to worship with them on Thursday, May 3rd. Everyone is invited to attend.

- ATTENTION BACONTON MEMBERS -- WE NEED YOU! It’s time to clean up our church, inside and outside. Here’s the schedule: Saturday, May 5th starting at 9:00 A.M. - we will clean the interior; Saturday, May 12th starting at 8:00 A.M. - we will clean the exterior. Let us all join together in this endeavor. Remember -- “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” We thank you in advance for your participation. Our POCs are Bro. Nicholson and Bro. Dismukes.

- The First African Baptist Church, Meridian will host Friends and Family Day, May 6th at 4:00 P.M. Baconton is in charge of this program; Pastor Scott will preach, the deacons and ushers will serve and the Adult Choir will sing. Everyone is invited to attend.

- The Annual Relay for Life Walk for Cancer will be Friday, May 11th starting at 6:00 P.M. at the Recreation Center, Hinesville. Please donate generously to this cause; our Relay for Life team members are standing by to take your donations!!

- St. Luke Baptist Church, Hinesville, will host a Spring Revival May 15th-17th at 7:30 P.M. Baconton is invited to worship on the 17th; the deacons are asked to assist with devotion and offering.

REMINDERS:
- If you have a valid driver license and would like to be one of our van drivers, please see Dea. Walton or call him at 369-5875.
- The Homeless Coalition and the City of Hinesville are sponsoring an ongoing Diaper Drive. Baconton is a collection point so please help by donating as many diapers as possible.
